Womens Health Check and Examinations

This service is available to both individuals and female employees of corporate clients. The consultation includes

• Blood pressure checks
• Urinalysis
• Breast examination
• Pelvic examination
• Cervical smears
• Diabetes screening
• Fasting cholesterol
• Thyroid function test
• Full blood count
• Kidney and liver function
• Referrals for other services such as bone density, pelvic ultrasound and mammograms will also be covered.

These consultations are approximately 30 minutes long and must be scheduled in the morning time to allow fasting blood samples to be taken. Alternatively the consultation can take place at a later time and the blood tests can be rescheduled.

The check costs €70 if you are entitled to a free smear under the CervicalCheck programme or €120 if you wish to have a private smear taken.
