Cervical Smear and Cervical Screening

Smears can be sent from the Womens Health Clinic to Claymon Laboratories, a fully accredited private laboratory in Dublin. These will be reported on within 12 working days. The cost of this service is €100. Currently the newly established national cervical screening programme Cervicheck will authorise cervical smears to be carried out every three years if the previous smear was normal. The Womens Health Clinic has established this excellent and efficient service with Claymon Laboratories to facilitate women who would like to have more frequent smears, or women who are not yet eligible due to their age.
